The property is about 10 acres (4 hecters) with nearly 400 feet (128 meters) of shoreline. The original road used to develop the property is now only a foot path. Vehicles can only go as far as the Workshop - the rest of the property can only be accessed by walking.
Workshop Floor Plan

The workshop contains the diesel generator and all the tools. There is a secondary gas generator that can be hooked into the circuit in case of emergency.
Greenhouse The Garden
Garden House House Floor Plan

The garden house contains an office, storage cupboards, the washer and dryer and a shower and has become the main storage area. The batteries and inverter are here and the solar panels are located on the roof.
The Kitchen House Inside the Kitchen looking out

The main building is the kitchen house. It contains the kitchen, bedrooms, the pantry and common area. The large cedar tree out in front is magnificant.
The Bedroom House Inside the Bedroom House

The bedroom house is what its name implies. It contains three bedrooms and a large bathroom with two sinks. This building is also called the "Loft House" as the bedrooms have additional sleeping areas in the upstairs.
The Dock Standing on the dock and looking towards the North East

Bird cove is an excellent sheltered area. Prevaling winds are from the North West in summer and South East in the winter. Tides average are about 12 feet from low to high, the low tide cycle is about 24 and 1/2 hours per day - that is to say that if the low tide was at 11:00 am today it will be roughly 11:30 am tomorrow. For about 4 hours each day, around low tide, the dock float is high and dry. This is an inconvienence and has to be planned around.
